Dubuque County is a county located in the U.S. state of Iowa. As of the 2020 census, the population was 99,266, [1] making it the eighth-most populous county in Iowa. The county seat is Dubuque. [2] The county is named for Julien Dubuque, the first European settler of Iowa. Dubuque County comprises the Dubuque, IA Metropolitan Statistical Area. [3]

The three buildings include a stone house (c. 1854), barn (c. 1860), and well-house (c. 1860). The buildings are typical of those constructed by immigrant families from Luxembourg that settled in Dubuque and nearby Jackson counties.
