Rueben Philip Job (February 7, 1928 – January 3, 2015) was an American bishop of the United Methodist Church. Elected in 1984, he served the Iowa episcopal area and retired in 1992. Birth and family
He founded The Bishop's School [8] in La Jolla, California [9] and served on the Pomona College board of trustees. [10] The Bishop Johnson College of Nursing at Good Samaritan Hospital was named for him. [11] He was the father of architect Reginald Davis Johnson. [12]
