Mesh analysis (or the mesh current method) is a circuit analysis method for planar circuits. Planar circuits are circuits that can be drawn on a plane surface with no wires crossing each other. A more general technique, called loop analysis (with the corresponding network variables called loop currents ) can be applied to any circuit, planar or ...
Multiplatform open source application for the solution of physical problems based on the Hermes library: University of West Bohemia: 3.2: 2014-03-03: GNU GPL: Free: Linux, Windows: CalculiX: It is an Open Source FEA project. The solver uses a partially compatible ABAQUS file format. The pre/post-processor generates input data for many FEA and ...
scikit-learn (formerly scikits.learn and also known as sklearn) is a free and open-source machine learning library for the Python programming language. [3] It features various classification, regression and clustering algorithms including support-vector machines, random forests, gradient boosting, k-means and DBSCAN, and is designed to interoperate with the Python numerical and scientific ...
A method for this, known as the marker and micro-cell method, has been developed by Raad and his colleagues in 1997. [ 14 ] The evolution of the m {\displaystyle m} -th fluid in a system on n {\displaystyle n} fluids is governed by the transport equation (actually the same equation that has to be fulfilled by the level-set method distance ...
It is an open-source cross-platform integrated development environment (IDE) for scientific programming in the Python language.Spyder integrates with a number of prominent packages in the scientific Python stack, including NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, pandas, IPython, SymPy and Cython, as well as other open-source software.
Mesh generation is the practice of creating a mesh, a subdivision of a continuous geometric space into discrete geometric and topological cells. Often these cells form a simplicial complex. Usually the cells partition the geometric input domain. Mesh cells are used as discrete local approximations of the larger domain.
Unlike other mesh-based methods like the finite element method, finite volume method or finite difference method, the MPM is not a mesh based method and is instead categorized as a meshless/meshfree or continuum-based particle method, examples of which are smoothed particle hydrodynamics and peridynamics.
On triangular mesh surfaces, the problem of computing this mapping is called mesh parameterization. The parameter domain is the surface that the mesh is mapped onto. Parameterization was mainly used for mapping textures to surfaces. Recently, it has become a powerful tool for many applications in mesh processing.
