In July 2023, Pictou County Transit was approved for additional provincial funding through the Community Transportation Assistance Program. [ 5 ] As of January 2024, Pictou County Transit is aiming to expand their service to the outlying communities of Trenton , Westville and Pictou Landing First Nation in Spring 2024 [ 6 ]

Melville is an unincorporated area in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia, located in Pictou County. [3] It is on Nova Scotia Trunk 6 between the communities of River John, Cape John and Toney River. It is a rural area on the Northumberland Strait to the east of Cape John. [4]
