Kari Elizabeth Byron [1] (born December 18, 1974) is an American television host, best known for her role on the MythBusters and White Rabbit Project series.. Byron was born in the Bay Area, California and graduated from San Francisco State University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in film and sculpture.

Kari first went to an eye center to obtain a control photo of her eye color (brown). She then underwent a self-hypnosis session in an attempt to change her physical eye color. However, when she went back to the eye center to have her eyes analyzed, the results showed no change in eye color.
The MythBusters tried to pull the books apart with human power, first attempting to do so on their own and then bringing in ten other people (which included Tory and Kari in a separate test) to help. These attempts did not succeed, so they hooked up a pair of cars to try to pull the phonebooks apart.
