In human anatomy, the deltoid tuberosity is a rough, triangular [1] area on the antero lateral (front-side) surface of the middle of the humerus. [2] It is a site of attachment of deltoid muscle . [ 2 ]
Deltoid tuberosity of the humerus. The radial sulcus, also known as the spiral groove, is found on the posterior surface of the shaft and is a shallow oblique groove through which the radial nerve passes along with deep vessels. This is located posteroinferior to the deltoid tuberosity.
