Cottee's is an Australian food and beverage brand founded in 1927. [1] Cottee's make a variety of products including cordial, jams, marmalades and other spreads, toppings, jellies and puddings.
It was Cottee's father, Spencer Milton Cottee, who developed the drink Passiona on which the business was based. In 1924, Harold Cottee gave up the study of law to marry an English nurse, Lois Spencer, who persuaded him to move to Sydney and try to make a success of the company registered by him and his father in 1927 (The Bulletin 30 July 1968).
In 1934, Cottees Passiona Ltd reported a gross profit of £609. [ citation needed ] Cottee granted licences to produce the drink to a number of now defunct Australian bottlers, including Geo. Hall & Sons in South Australia and Bowral Bottlers in the NSW Southern Highlands. [ 5 ]

Poole was a unitary authority in Dorset, England from 1997 to 2019. From 1974 until 1 April 1997 it was a non-metropolitan district. In 2019 it was abolished and subsumed into Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council.
