St. Agnes is now part of The Parish of St. Catherine of Siena and St. Agnes, a Roman Catholic parish church in Riverside & Greenwich, Connecticut, part of the Diocese of Bridgeport. The church architecture is notable as an example of the adaptive reuse of an early twentieth-century estate carriage house; it has been substantially renovated over the years for more serviceable ecclesiastical means.
Around 1854, Greenwich became a mission station of St. John's in Stamford. Visiting priests offered Mass in private homes or at the Town Hall. In 1860 a small church was erected on William Street. Christ Church, Greenwich, is an Episcopal church in the Diocese of Connecticut, United States, located in the Putnam Hill Historic District along the Boston Post Road ( U.S. Route 1) as it passes through Greenwich in Fairfield County, Connecticut. [1] The parish was established in 1749, and the current church building dates from 1910.

Stanwich Church was founded in 1731, one year before George Washington, was born. 13 families of Greenwich (then Horse Neck) and North Stamford asked the parish to establish a new church in the Stanwich section (now known as Stanwich Historic District) of town. The initial meetinghouse was torn down in 1804, to make space for a larger church.
