The Lost World of Tambun (LWOT) is a theme park and hotel in Sunway City, Tambun, Ipoh, Kinta District, Perak, Malaysia. [1] Managed by the Sunway Group, the 40 acres (16 ha) park opened on 11 November 2004, [2] and is officiated by Sultan Azlan Shah.
Most notable subsidiaries are located close to the headquarters in Bandar Sunway. These include two main hotels: Sunway Resort Hotel and Spa and the Pyramid Tower Hotel. Other tourism-related facilities include the Sunway Pyramid shopping mall and Sunway Lagoon theme park. Sunway Group is the parent company of Sunway Education Group.
The mall is also directly accessible from Sunway Pyramid Hotel and Sunway Resort Hotel via The Link, a retail and dining zone completed in 2022 which contains esteemed restaurant franchises such as Din Tai Fung and Haidilao Hot Pot (which replaced the area formerly occupied by Taste Enclave, a food court [17]).
