Memento Mori (stylised on cover as Memento| Mori) is the fifteenth studio album by English electronic music band Depeche Mode, released on 24 March 2023 [2] through Columbia. [3] [4] The album was produced by James Ford, and marks their first album in six years since 2017's Spirit, the longest period of time between albums in the band's history.
On 29 January 2024, an official music video was released for the song directed by Anton Corbijn. [2] [3] Focusing on themes of mortality and salvation, and filmed in black and white, the video shows a gloomy figure in an overcoat who slowly walks into a dangerous sea, and, in the end, the elements consume him.

Flyleaf released their second album, Memento Mori, in 2009, which debuted and peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard charts. Shortly before the release of their third album, New Horizons (2012), lead vocalist Lacey Sturm announced her departure. [4] Kristen May subsequently became the new lead vocalist.
