www.ecc.edu SUNY Erie is a public community college with three campuses in western New York that serve residents in and near Erie County . It is part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system and has locations in Williamsville (North Campus), Buffalo (City Campus within Old Post Office ), and Orchard Park (South Campus).

In 1987, the college was renamed Edgecombe Community College and has since expanded its campus size. In January 2016, ECC opened a 45,000 sq foot Biotechnology and Medical Simulation Center on the Rocky Mount campus. In 2018, Deborah Lamm retired as president of ECC, [2] eventually being replaced by Gregory McLeod, ECC's first black president. [3]

Chávez, the Educational Cultural Complex (ECC), Mid-City, North City and West City; it also conducts programming at various other off-campus sites throughout San Diego.

ECC competes as member of the NJCAA in the Missouri Community College Athletic Conference. Since 2008, ECC's sports teams have been known as the East Central Falcons. [4] "Rebels" was the original mascot of the college, but the name was dropped due to its ties to the Civil War and the Confederacy. [5] The mascot is named "Franklin" the Falcon.
