The Accelerating Deployment of Versatile, Advanced Nuclear for Clean Energy Act of 2024, or the ADVANCE Act of 2024, is a piece of legislation passed by the 118th United States Congress to accelerate the development of generation IV nuclear reactor technology and keep existing United States nuclear electric power plants online.

The Implementing Recommendations of the 9/11 Commission Act of 2007 (Pub. L. 110–53 (text)), is an Act of Congress. The Act implements some of the recommendations of the 9/11 Commission including mandating 100% inspection of all air and sea cargo entering the United States, and a new method of redistributing anti-terrorism funding.
The refund of ACT for non-taxpayers was scrapped in 1997, and in 1999 the ACT was itself scrapped, effectively making dividend income of non-taxpayers tax-free again. The amount of ACT paid by a company could also be offset against the company's profits reducing its final corporation tax bill. The ACT was scrapped in 1999.
