Park Road 37 (PR 37) is a state highway located in the Texas Hill Country. The highway runs from Bandera County Park (formerly Avalon State Park) at the shores of Medina Lake in Lakehills to SH 16 northwest of Helotes. PR 37 has been noted as an excellent drive by motorcyclists for its views, tight bends and hills. [2]
West Lake Hills (locally referred to as "Westlake" [5]) is a city in Travis County, Texas, United States.The population was 3,444 at the 2020 census.The city was established and incorporated in 1953 and developed rapidly in the 1970s and 1980s, especially on the south side of the Colorado River.
A few showers in the Summer of 2013 helped the lake rise to 5.2%, but the dam was reopened in September as many people in the South Side of San Antonio use the lake for a water source. Many businesses have closed in the area, many residents have left and Lakehills has become somewhat of a ghost town. [6] [7]
