In the Anglo-Saxon calendar, Blōtmōnaþ (modern English: blót month) was the month roughly corresponding to November. [1]The month was recorded by the English scholar Bede in his treatise De temporum ratione (The Reckoning of Time), saying "Blod-monath is month of immolations, for it was in this month that the cattle which were to be slaughtered were dedicated to the gods.” [2]

The Valley Gang was an Irish-American street gang in Chicago, Illinois during the early 20th century, which ultimately made the transition to organized crime and became a de facto extension of the Chicago Outfit under Al Capone.
It was directed by Bill Ross IV and Turner Ross. It has a 91% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and critics wondered if it is a true documentary or partly fiction, perhaps as something that is a new genre, but regardless, generally praised the film.
