Mahaju wrote more than 44 books of poetry, epics, short stories and essays. Sajjan Hridayabharan , a book of poems on morals which came out in 1920, was the only one published during his lifetime. Mahaju composed Siddhi Ramayana , a translation of the epic Ramayana in Nepal Bhasa, in 1913.
Hamro Lok Sanskriti (Nepali: हाम्रो लोक संस्कृति, lit. 'Our Folk Culture') is a 1956 book by Satya Mohan Joshi. It is about the folk culture of Nepal. The book won the Madan Puraskar, Nepal's highest literary honour.
With permission from Nepali Bhasha Prakashini Samiti, the book was released in July 1920, with 1,000 copies being printed. [16] Dharmacharya published the first magazine in Nepal Bhasa Buddha Dharma wa Nepal Bhasa from Kolkata in 1925.
