Bangaru Adigalar (3 March 1941 – 19 October 2023) was an Indian spiritual guru and the president of the Adiparasakthi Charitable Medical Educational and Cultural Trust. He was called "Amma", meaning mother in Tamil, by his followers and devotees of the Adhiparasakthi temple.
It was founded in 1978 in Melmaruvathur by Bangaru Adigalar; it funds colleges and a hospital. [1] [2] [3] References
Arul Thiru Bangaru Adigalar is called by his devotees as AMMA (means Mother), here in Siddhar Peetam whatever "AMMA" says is the law and it is administered under the guidance of 'AMMA' which is a divine administration. In Melmaruvathur, women are permitted to perform poojas in the sanctum sanctorum.
