  2. Carlisle trailer tires now made on US soil? - Keystone Forums

    www.keystoneforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34391

Yes, old thread but tires are always relevant. Carlisle has a manufacturing facility in Clinton, TN and a newer plant in Jackson, TN. But the "Trail" tire is still manufactured in China. Hankook has built a huge plant here in Clarksville, TN close to where I reside. Their tires have a minimum of 14 ply and a G rating.

  4. Tires Revisited - Keystone RV Forums

Well at 9,820# on the rear axles, you really don’t need more tire. Our trailer is at about 10,000# on the trailer tires, and we run LT 235/85-16 and no issues. It does look like you are slightly over your TV GVWR, and GAWR on the rear axle. I ams assuming 10,000# GVWR and 6,000# GAWR on the rear axle. _____

From the Tires Warehouse webpage, "Mastertrack is distributed by Unicorn Tire, a U.S.-based tire company specializing in the import and wholesale of a wide range of Chinese tires." A buddy of mine just bought mastertrack tires for his 3/4 ton.

  6. Carlisle Radial Trail RH vs HD - Keystone RV Forums

Regardless of which, new Carlisle tires are an arguable improvement over anything Trailer King offers !!! I suspect that in the scheme of things the difference in the RH and HD is negligible. When you are replacing tires every 3 years (I hope they last that long) I think that tires that are made reasonably well are all going to be serviceable ...

Tires have a lot of information about themselves printed right on their sidewalls, including the country where they were made and the actual manufacturing plant in that country. The underlined 8D in the picture below is the plant code for HANGZHOU GENERAL RUBBER FACTORY, Jiande, China which can be found in the plant code reference.

I read their release and looked at the individual lines of tires and it was hit and miss on what was branded Carlstar. I re-read their release and here is an excerpt:

  9. Carlisle Trail HD Cracking? - Keystone RV Forums

    www.keystoneforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39990

I put on Carlisle Trail HD tires just over 2 years ago to replace the stock tires. At the time, I thought they were a good option over the Trailer King tires. I went from a load range C to load range D. Now, they look like they have some exterior cracking.

  10. rainier st tires - Keystone RV Forums

Just brought my new High Country home this past Saturday. Has Rainier ST tires, 235/80r16's. Can't seem to find out much of anything about them. I replaced the OEM tires on the Open Range I traded with Maxxis 8008's. Great tire with super reviews. Seems the Treddit tire web site says they're affiliated with Goodyear.

  11. GY Endurance vs Carlisle - Keystone RV Forums

    www.keystoneforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38835

GY Endurance vs Carlisle. I had 15" Carlisle Radial Trail HD on previous trailer and now have 16" GY Endurance on FW. IMO, the build quality and thread depth on the Radial Trail HD is superior to that of the GY Endurance. The Endurance have wavy sidewalls and the threads look like they will wear out within a couple of seasons.
