The 2024–25 Ekstraklasa (also known as PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa due to sponsorship reasons) [7] is the 99th season of the Polish Football Championship, the 91st season of the highest-tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1927 and the 17th season of the Ekstraklasa under its current title.

Ekstraklasa (Polish pronunciation: [ˌɛkstraˈklasa]; meaning "Extra Class" in Polish), officially known as PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa due to its sponsorship by PKO Bank Polski, [2] [3] is the top Polish professional league for men's association football teams.
The 2022–23 season is Miedź Legnica's 52nd season in existence and the club's first season back in the top flight of Polish football. In addition to the domestic league, Miedź Legnica will participate in this season's edition of the Polish Cup. The season covers the period from 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023.
