Beats Electronics LLC (also known as Beats by Dr. Dre, Beats by Dre or simply Beats) is an American consumer audio products manufacturer headquartered in Culver City, California. [1] [2] The company was founded in 2006 by music producer Dr. Dre and record company executive Jimmy Iovine. Since 2014, it has been an Apple subsidiary.
In 2008, Brunner collaborated with Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre to launch Beats by Dre, and is responsible for the design of the company's lines of headphones and speakers [11] including Beats Studio, [12] Powerbeats, Mixr, [13] Solo and Solo Pro as well as the Pill wireless speaker, [14] among others.
Beats Pill is a line of portable Bluetooth speakers produced by Beats Electronics, presently a subsidiary of Apple Inc. The speakers are characterized primarily by their capsule -like form factor. Several Pill models have been released since the original launch in 2012, with the most recent version released in 2024.
