NordicTrack was founded by Edward and Florence Pauls in 1975, when Ed Pauls invented the original NordicTrack ski machine in his garage in Chaska, Minnesota, [1] in an effort to train for the local VJC cross-country ski race. Ed Pauls was an engineer, usually got home after dark, and was motivated to beat his Swedish friend in the race.

Two important quantities that are used to describe shape-memory effects are the strain recovery rate (R r) and strain fixity rate (R f). The strain recovery rate describes the ability of the material to memorize its permanent shape, while the strain fixity rate describes the ability of switching segments to fix the mechanical deformation.

The inner ear contains the vestibular system, which is also known as the organ of equilibrium.About the size of a pencil eraser, the vestibular system contains two distinct structures: the semicircular canals, which detect changes in angular acceleration, and the otolith organs (the utricle and the saccule), which detect changes in linear acceleration and gravity.
In algebra, a flat cover of a module M over a ring is a surjective homomorphism from a flat module F to M that is in some sense minimal. Any module over a ring has a flat cover that is unique up to (non-unique) isomorphism. Flat covers are in some sense dual to injective hulls, and are related to projective covers and torsion-free covers.
It features a cantilever low wing, a two seats in side-by-side configuration cockpit, tricycle landing gear and a single engine in tractor configuration. [1] [2] The aircraft of all-composite construction. Its 8.0 m (26.2 ft) span elliptical wing employs rounded wingtips and fixed slots in the outer portion of the wing and dive brakes. Optional ...
