Sukadji Ranuwihardjo (9 November 1931 – 11 August 2007) was an Indonesian academic and former Rector (Head) of Gadjah Mada University (Universitas Gadjah Mada, or UGM) from 1973 to 1981. [1] Sukadji was born on 9 November 1931, in Blitar, East Java, [1] in what was, at the time, the Dutch East Indies (present-day Indonesia).
She graduated from SMP Negeri 5 Yogyakarta and SMA Negeri 1 Yogyakarta before went to Faculty of Medicine at Gadjah Mada University in 1982 and graduated in 1987. [2] [1] [3] She later attended University of Dundee in 1990 where she studied medical education and earned her Ph.D in Clinical Teaching from University of New South Wales.

[2] For his work with the university and thoughts on Pancasila, Notonagoro was given an honorary doctorate in philosophy from Gadjah Mada University on 19 December 1973. He died on 23 September 1981.
