    I am using IP Cam Viewer Pro v1.8.3 for iOS on my iPhone 4. I have a Samsung SDE-120N DVR, which is supposedly compatible with this application. However, any time I try to add a camera from the DVR, it returns "Error: Could not retrieve data." The port configuration is all set up correctly, and verified.

    If not, try reversing the 485 and also re-seat the wire in the 485 hookups on the back of the dvr. As long as you are absolutely certain everything matches in the camera and dvr settings, than it's the 485. Either try switching the wire around, try a new wire completely, and try re-seating it in the dvr connection block.
