The Sims 2: The Ultimate Collection was only available for free on Origin for a few years. It is not possible to buy The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection, and it never has been. If a seller is advertising The Ultimate Collection for sale, please be advised that it is not a legal copy.

I expect to see The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection added to my library as I have it on Origin and it looks like it did not transfer over yet. I have The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection on Origin, however when I downloaded the EA App yesterday my game was replaced with The Sims 2 Deluxe and it does not work.

I tried installing The Sims 2 Ultimate collection from one of the old games archive site. I downloaded it uses a external hard drive that had a lot of space on it. it caused my Microsoft Surface to go into a boot loop for almost 2 years. I recently got it fixed by creating a recovery drive for it.
I had all my sims 2 games and tried to download them from the disc but they stopped working. I contacted support told them what happened. They had me take a photo of one of the codes and disc. The person then added the collection to my library. This was just a few years ago after 2016.
The cover art says The Sims 2 Double Deluxe and the title in your EA Library is now The Sims 2. Rest assured it is the Ultimate Collection that is installed. This has now been fixed and the cover art says The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection, though the title name remains The Sims 2. The size of the download may say something like 10GB.
