Satan would have us believe that we are sinful, lost, and without hope. The truth is that God’s love and salvation has set us free from sin and death. The second way that truth serves as a belt, holding together the full armor of God, is our personal commitment to truth—to living a life that is upright, transparent, and without deceit.

God wants everyone to come to know the truth. It's in the Bible, 1 Timothy 2:3-4, NKJV. "For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." Jesus is our way and truth that takes us from our helpless, lost, and sinful state into full, complete, everlasting life.
Keep your heart full of the promises of God. Then where will be no room for doubt, fear, frustration and discouragement to come in. 1 John 5:14, "…if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us." If you do not ask according to God's will, it is not real faith in God. If God's answer is "No" we still must be willing to wait patiently, and trust God to answer in his own way and in His timing. Trust God. Trust God, even though it may seem like prayer doesn't work.
