Spare Snare is a lo-fi band from Dundee, Scotland, who were voted as the 46th best Scottish band of all time. [1] Founded in the early 1990s, the band have released 12 albums and 2 compilations to date, released on their own Chute Records, or licensed to another label. They have also recorded four John Peel Sessions.
The EP also contained a live version of Far Side of the World recorded at the HebCelt Music Festival in 2018. In November, the band sold out the Scottish music venue Barrowlands in Glasgow. Their second album, Eye of the Storm, was released in May 2020 and debuted at #12 in the Official UK Album Charts.
