JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) is a private deemed university in Bengaluru, India. Originating from Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College of Engineering (SBMJCE) , it was conferred the deemed-to-be-university status in 2009. [ 2 ]

As a former student myself and having studied in it for 4 years, I have seen no affiliations towards any religions. The university is secular and supports all religions and its practices. In fact it does not celebrate/enforce celebrations of Jain Festivals either. But infact, they do celebrate Christmas and Diwali.
