Funded by the donation of Kanwal and Ann Rekhi, the facility opened in 2005. Providing several new classrooms and research laboratories the facility is considered state of the art. Kanwal Rekhi is a Michigan Tech Alumni from the class of 1969. The building also houses part of the Michigan Tech Testing Center. [24]
On March 5, 2014, the College Board announced that a redesigned version of the SAT would be administered for the first time in 2016.
