Kingston State Park is a 44-acre (18 ha) state park located on Great Pond in the town of Kingston, New Hampshire. The park offers 300 feet (91 m) of swim area with a bathhouse, canoe rentals, fireplaces and picnic areas, a playground, softball field, and three game areas for horseshoes and volleyball. A pavilion can be rented.

Sojourner Truth State Park is a 508-acre (2.06 km 2) state park under construction in Ulster County, New York, to the north of Kingston, bounded by the Hudson River to its east and New York State Route 32 on its west.
The city acquired the park from the street railway company in 1930, the last year of streetcar service in Kingston. [1] Its once popular campground closed in 2005 and the park's many amusement rides and refreshment booths have been removed. In 2006 the City of Kingston completed an exercise to obtain public feedback on the park's future.
