The Ohio Savings Plaza is a commercial high-rise building in Cleveland, Ohio. The building rises 253 feet (77 m) in Downtown Cleveland. [2] It contains 17 floors, and was completed in 1969. [1] The Ohio Savings Plaza currently stands as the 33rd-tallest building in the city, tied in rank with the Penton Media Building and Ameritech Center.
The Cleveland Terminal Subdivision is a railroad line owned by CSX Transportation in the U.S. state of Ohio. The line runs from a point northeast of downtown Cleveland southwest to downtown [ 2 ] along the former New York Central Railroad main line.
The towers are the 1920s example of what architects thought future buildings would look like as defined by the art deco movement. The 289 foot (88 meters) [4] tall building was designed by the firm of Graham, Anderson, Probst & White, who were also responsible for the design of the Terminal Tower. It was renovated in 1975 under the direction of Cleveland architect Peter van Dijk , and again by Hines Properties in 1991.
