The M1 motorway is one of the oldest motorway of Hungary. It connects the Hungarian capital with the northwester part of Transdanubia, (Tatabánya, Győr) towards to Vienna. The motorway is part of the Pan-European Corridor IV, and European route E60, E65 and E75. Average daily traffic is 75,510 near Budapest and 56,421 vehicles/day near Győr. [6]
