Wawa station is a commuter rail station on the SEPTA Regional Rail Media/Wawa Line, located adjacent to U.S. Route 1 in Middletown Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.The original station was built by the West Chester and Philadelphia Railroad and later served the Pennsylvania Railroad's West Chester Branch, which finally became SEPTA's R3 line (later renamed to the "Media/Elwyn Line").

The Media/Wawa Line is a SEPTA Regional Rail service that runs from Center City Philadelphia west to Wawa in Delaware County.It uses the West Chester Branch, which connects with the SEPTA Main Line at 30th Street Station.
SEPTA operated the line as its R3-Media/West Chester service until 1986, when service was truncated to Elwyn. Eighteen West Chester-Center City trains had operated on weekdays along with eleven West Chester-Media shuttle trains. [8] SEPTA restored rail service west of Elwyn to a new park and ride station in Wawa in 2022. [9]
The station includes a 108-space parking lot; additional parking may be found on the opposite side of the tracks off Scottdale Road, which itself runs along Darby Creek, both of which are under a train trestle west of the station. Prior to being named Gladstone, this station was known as Burmont; before that, it was known as Kellyville.
Fernwood–Yeadon station (originally Fernwood station) is a SEPTA Regional Rail station in Yeadon, Pennsylvania. It serves the Media/Wawa Line and is located at Church Lane and Penn Boulevard. The station saw 113 boardings and 132 alightings on an average weekday. [2] The station originally had a wooden pedestrian bridge and a grade crossing.
The latter station was opened in 1997 as Eastwick, while 70th Street was never built, and has since disappeared from maps. Additionally, University City station (proposed as "Civic Center", now Penn Medicine station) opened in April 1995 to serve all R1, R2 and R3 trains passing it.
