Tom Knox is an American businessman and politician. Knox became a millionaire through businesses in software, banking and health insurance. A Democrat, Knox ran for Mayor of Philadelphia in 2007 and briefly for Governor of Pennsylvania in 2010 before dropping out before the primary. [1]
The Waltham Watch Company factory was purchased and Knox built 15 cars in their first year. [3] The Knox Model A was a three-wheel runabout with a 5-hp one-cylinder air-cooled engine. In 1902 a four-wheel runabout and a 8-hp two-cylinder engine joined the model line-up. Early cars were called Knoxmobile with the Waterless Knox being used from 1903.
The Atlas car was built in Springfield, Massachusetts from 1907 to 1911 (and became the Atlas-Knight for 1912–1913). After Harry Knox left the company that had been building Knox cars in Springfield, he established the Knox Motor Truck Company in 1905 to produce Atlas commercial vehicles. Pennsylvania Route 134 (PA 134), also called Taneytown Road (/ ˈ t ɔː n i t aʊ n / TAW-nee-town), is a north–south, two-lane state highway in Adams County, Pennsylvania. It runs from the Maryland border at the Mason–Dixon line in Mount Joy Township north to U.S. Route 15 Business (US 15 Bus.) in Gettysburg .
