This template may be substituted. This template can be used to easily link to the singular and plural form of a word. It is generally only appropriate outside of the mainspace .
The plural of this form may be in either -h as with verbs, or -meh as with nouns, with a slight difference in nuance, the verbal plural implying a 'characteristic or habit' and the nominal one '[membership in] a group or category of people who have this characteristic'. [2]: 161–163
The plural may be used to emphasise the plurality of the attribute, especially in British English but very rarely in American English: a careers advisor, a languages expert. The plural is also more common with irregular plurals for various attributions: women killers are women who kill, whereas woman killers are those who kill women.
