America's Thanksgiving Parade (officially America's Thanksgiving Parade presented by Gardner-White through 2035) is an annual American parade held in downtown Detroit, Michigan each Thanksgiving Day from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. EST. The tradition was started in the city in 1924 by the J. L. Hudson Company department store.
