It contains 294 rooms and over 24,000 ft 2 of meeting space. It also contains special amenities, such as a fitness center and three restaurants.
The building was first built in 1925 on the corner of Fifth and Walnut streets as the Kentucky Hotel. It was the last hotel built in Downtown Louisville before World War Two. [1] The late 1960s experienced a large growth in new apartment construction throughout the United States. [2]
