The new Tikka Roughneck Ranch 16" in .308 with threaded barrel may well solve many problems for me. From downloaded subsonics for close in, to medium range supersonic 308 caliber effectiveness.

  3. Factory Rifle - Bergara vs Tikka | Sniper's Hide Forum

Not debating caliber, just the two rifles themselves. The Bergara B-14 Terrain Wilderness comes with a cerakoting, AI mag, and adjustable comb stock with flush cups. It also has a 1:10 twist barrel. The Tikka is stainless and has a 1:11 twist barrel.

  4. tikka t3x accuracy | Sniper's Hide Forum

    www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/tikka-t3x-accuracy.6877296

My tikka T3X 223 varmint is an extremely repeatable .4"-.5" gun with the 77 gr FGMM. It shoots in the .2".3" with 75gr hand loads, but I would be more than happy with the accuracy of the factory FGMM. Note: this was with a completely factory rifle with a 20 moa mountain tactical base and a 5-25 pst gen II.

  6. Tikka T3x UPR vs CTR vs VARMIT | Sniper's Hide Forum

    www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/tikka-t3x-upr-vs-ctr-vs-varmit.7163027

Feb 25, 2023. #3. No difference in accuracy and I don’t think you’d ever tell a difference in carrying weight (unless you were talking like 24” Varmint vs 20” CTR). CTR is probably the lightest of the 3. CTR/UPR are sort of akin to a light Palma profile whereas the Varmint maybe starts to get more towards a medium Palma or standard Rem ...

  7. TIKKA T3X Arctic v.s. RUGER Gunsite Scut rifle

    www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/tikka-t3x-arctic-v-s-ruger-gunsite-scut...

Sergeant. I see written YouTube comments on TIKKA T3 X Arctic or similar Canadian Ranger models that the TIKKAs are "in a class above the RUGER Scout in quality and ruggedness." To me the RUGER Scout rifle is VERY "rugged", an excellent, proven Mauser type action with an accurate 5R barrel. It's laminated stock requires only a good epoxy bedding.

  8. Howa vs Tikka Action | Sniper's Hide Forum

    www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/howa-vs-tikka-action.6889831

Howa. The tikka is better over all. You can get a full howa set up for under 300. A base tikka will run 500-600. I don’t think the tikka is 2x as good as howa but not everything in life is linear, you pay more of a premium for better stuff.

  9. Tikka T3 vs Remington 700 actions | Sniper's Hide Forum

    www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/tikka-t3-vs-remington-700-actions.169415

Apr 15, 2013. #16. The tikka action is plenty strong, and their bolt handle attachment method is much stronger than Remington's. Overall, the T3 action is a very robust design and runs circles around the 700 in terms of engineering and build quality.

  10. Tikka T3x CTR as a Hunting Rig | Sniper's Hide Forum

    www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/tikka-t3x-ctr-as-a-hunting-rig.7153931

Dec 29, 2022. #1. Howdy I’m a long time lurker and decided to create an account in this forum. There are a lot of good posts and threads on the Hide. I own 3 Tikka T3x Lites that are excellent shooters. I have my first suppressor on order (Banish Backcountry) and decided the Tikka T3x CTR 20” barrel 6.5 Creedmoor would be a good stock ...

  11. Tikka, Bergara or Howa.. - Sniper's Hide

    www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/tikka-bergara-or-howa.7010336

Don’t have experience with the Bergara, but the Tikka abd Howa feel quite different so I’d try them out first if you can. Howa to me feels like a well made Rem 700. Tikka feels entirely different; not my cup of tea personally, but it’s good. If weight is a consideration Tikka wins out. If you want traditional feel I’d go Howa.
