Atlantic Community High School (also known as Atlantic and ATL and formerly called Seacrest High School) is a public high school located in Delray Beach, Florida, United States. It is part of the School District of Palm Beach County. Known for its academics, many students attend due to the school's International Baccalaureate program.
Founded in September 1961, and named for the Cardinal John Henry Newman, it is one of two private Catholic high schools in Palm Beach County, Florida. In 2005, Cardinal Newman was the first Catholic high school in Florida, and one of only a dozen in the United States to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
In 2022, Palm Beach County's School Board approved calendars for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 school years that included days off on April 10, 2024 and March 31, 2025 for the holiday.
The school opened as Forest Hill High School in 1959; [4] it is situated next to the West Palm Beach Country Club and I-95 in the southwestern corner of the City of West Palm Beach on a compact 17.38-acre (70,300 m 2) tract. A larger building replaced the original structure on the same site in 2004. The school was first accredited in 1961.
While the number of new students in Palm Beach County schools doubled this year over last, neither growth rate, both under 0.5%, rival the years of biggest growth in schoolchildren from 2010 to 2018.

It was built in 1968 as a public high school. The original school was demolished and a new school opened in August 2009 – 2010. [2]
