Posted May 8, 2013. McCormicks is a good company that will clearly list any form of gluten. I, have used it for years without issue. Curry is a blend of spices, mostly coriander, turmeric, cumin, fenugreek, and red pepper. Perhaps you have an issue with one of the added spices. but I would not suspect gluten.
First, McCormick spices. Their single spices are gluten-free, I know. But the mixed ones ares ones I'm after, particularly for flavoring so I won't be tempted to douse everything with salt! The Perfect Pinch flavors looked good, like Lemon Pepper, Garlic & Herb etc.
Shellfish. Sesame (for US products made beginning January 2023) Fish. Yellow Dye #5 (Tartrazine) Sulfites over 10 ppm. Gluten containing grains - including barley, rye, oats, spelt, triticale, and kamut. If no ingredient statement appears on the product label, then the products is as it appears in the product name (e.g. black pepper).
Here's the scoop. McCormick glass bottles/green or black lids are almost always pure spices or combinations of spices and are packaged in a dedicated area as are the small orange tins of Club House spices (about 10 varieties). In a NON-dedicated area is where the Club House spices/spice mixes/seasonings are packages.

Does anyone react to spices? Im eating mccormick's spices because they are suppose to be corn free and gluten free and yet Im reacting to something. Im soy, gluten, corn, nuts and dairy free. But wouldnt mccormick's list these items? Thanks ETA- Im also not tolerating nightshades and lectins.
