WSB-TV (channel 2) is a television station in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, affiliated with ABC.It is the flagship television property of locally based Cox Media Group, which has owned the station since its inception, and is sister to radio stations WSB (750 AM), WSBB-FM (95.5), WSRV (97.1 FM), WSB-FM (98.5) and WALR-FM (104.1).
After moving to Atlanta in 1975, Pearson worked at WSB-TV for 37 years [1] and was the first female and first African-American to anchor the daily evening news for the station. She retired from broadcasting on July 25, 2012, with Jovita Moore taking her place. [ 2 ]

Jovita Moore was born in New York City on October 4, 1967. Growing up, she enjoyed watching the news on television with her mother, Yvonne. She earned a Bachelor's degree from Bennington College and interned at The New York Times. Eventually, she got a Masters' degree for broadcast journalism at Columbia University.
Sandra Bookman (born October 8, 1959 in Beaumont, Texas) is an American television news reporter and anchor. She is currently a reporter and anchor at WABC-TV in New York City. She now co-anchors the noon weekday editions of Eyewitness News. Sandra co-anchored the 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. weekend editions of Eyewitness News.
Glenn N. Burns (born July 21, 1952) is a meteorologist, who was the chief meteorologist at WSB-TV in Atlanta, Georgia, a position he held for just over 40 years. In October, 2022, Glenn announced his retirement. Glenn's last day was November 22, 2022.
