Its caliber is .32 Winchester Special, that was designed in the early 1900’s as a rimmed smokeless powder cartridge. It’s an excellent short/medium range cartridge for deer etc. This Model 94 shows only the lightest amount of use and the blue, mechanics and bore are excellent. The wood is unaltered and in 98% condition.

SOLD! Winchester 94AE 30-30 Deluxe Walnut, near mint condition, 20 inch barrel. I apparently really like Mod 94's because I have a few too many. This one is the Deluxe version with a checkered Walnut stock set. I can’t find a mark on the gun, other than being tapped for a scope base. If I remember correctly, for a Redfield base.
Model 1894 / Model 94 Repeating Rifle Being economy guns there is not a large enough market for stock makers to offer high grade wood as a standard offering. Yours is right on the dividing line. Pre-64 Model 94s are more desireable than the later ones.

The NRA certificate, the hang tag, and the misc. paperwork is all there and the styrofoam case is in as new condition but the sleeve has some closet shelf scuffing. He also wants to know the value of his Model 94(30-30) Canadian Centennial. The Canadian is in about 95% condition. The box and papers are gone. He wants to sell both guns.
I already have a youth 336cs with a Leopold 1.5x5 that will shoot the Winchester 170's into 3/4 of an inch....the rifle hates the Hornady 160 gr FTX and the 150 gr core-lokt ( handloads) is accuracy is acceptable. This rifle for sale appears not to have been scoped which is the reason I was asking if the scope filler screws were still in place.
