This is a list of ships of the line of the Royal Navy of England, and later (from 1707) of Great Britain, and the United Kingdom.The list starts from 1660, the year in which the Royal Navy came into being after the restoration of the monarchy under Charles II, up until the emergence of the battleship around 1880, as defined by the Admiralty.
Ocean Angel was built by Todd Shipyards Corporation, Bath, Maine, United States.She was completed in October 1942. [3] Built for the Ministry of War Transport (MoWT), she was placed under the management of Barr, Crombie & Co. Transferred to the Ministry of Transport (MoT) in 1946 and placed under the management of Alcyone Shipping Finance Co. Sold to her managers in 1951 and renamed Alcyone Angel.
