In the Divergent book trilogy and film series, factions are societal divisions that classify citizens based on their aptitudes and values. [1] The factions are Dauntless (the brave ), Amity (the kind ), Erudite (the intelligent ), Abnegation (the selfless ), and Candor (the honest ).
Dauntless is one of the five factions in the world of Divergent and it is dedicated to courage, bravery, and fearlessness. It was formed on the principle that cowardice and fear are the causes of human problems. Their chosen color is black, and all members wear black clothes.
