Ewers was born on March 15, 2003, in San Antonio, Texas. [1] He spent his early years in Pleasanton, Texas, before his family moved to Southlake, Texas when he was eight. Ewers entered the 2024 season coming off a strong sophomore season, one in which he led Texas to the playoff. His 3,479 passing yards are the fourth-most in a single season by a Longhorns quarterback.
