This is seen in the anime and manga when Honey has a toothache (anime: episode 12, manga: chapter 14). Mori blames himself for failing to remind Honey to brush his teeth after eating and restricts his cousin from eating sweets until he has a filling done. Honey judo-throws Mori to the floor in a fit of anger, but they soon make amends.
During club hours, Honey experiences tooth pain and Mori discovers a cavity, so he forbids Honey having desserts or snacks. Honey unsuccessfully tries to obtain sweets, taking his frustration out on Mori by judo-throwing him. Haruhi realizes that Mori wants punishment for not being more watchful and when Honey learns this, the cousins make amends.
Haruhi identifies herself as a biological female, but does not view gender identity as important. [5] She therefore agrees to portray herself as a boy in order to repay her debt to the club. She carries on, keeping her sex secret from the club's clientele, by wearing a male uniform and using masculine pronouns. [ 6 ]
