Cardfight!! Vanguard V Series: High School Arc Cont. (カードファイト！！ ヴァンガード 続・高校生編, Kādofaito!! Vangādo zoku kōkōsei-hen) is a 2019 anime television series in the Cardfight!! Vanguard franchise that continues the reboot storyline of the V series, roughly based on the Cardfight!! Vanguard manga by Akira Ito.
Through friendly rivalry with them, Aichi begins to enjoy a fulfilling life. Aichi, however, has a goal: to once again battle with a Vanguard Fighter by the name of Toshiki Kai. Kai is an aloof and cold-hearted high school student who has outstanding abilities in the world of Vanguard. He is also the reason why Aichi started playing the game.
Aichi Sendou (先導 アイチ, Sendō Aichi) Voiced by: Tsubasa Yonaga (Japanese); James Beach (English) The main protagonist of the original "Cardfight!! Vanguard" series. When he was younger, Aichi was a very shy and lonely boy who was frequently bullied at school.
Season 1 Aichi Sendou, the protagonist of the show, is a timid young boy in his third year of junior high school. The one thing that keeps him going is his trading card Blaster Blade from Cardfight!! Vanguard, a trading card game that takes place on a different planet called "Cray" and is popular throughout the world.
Note: Aichi Sendou, Kamui Katsuragi, Toshiki Kai, Ren Suzugamori, Tetsu Shinjou, Naoki Ishida, Shingo Komoi, Kourin Tatsunagi and Misaki Tokura from the Cardfight!! Vanguard anime make cameo appearances near the end of the episode. Misaki is the only one who gets a speaking portion for one line.
