On 1 August 2024, it was announced that the musical will have its world premiere at the Theatre Royal, Bath, Somerset beginning previews on 22 March 2025 (with a press night on 25 March), running until 12 April. John Doyle will direct the production and it will be produced by the Theatre Royal Bath in association with Universal Theatrical Group.

In January 2014, the production began a short pre-West End run at the New Theatre, Cardiff, followed by the Theatre Royal in Bath. [35] The show then transferred to the Noël Coward Theatre in the West End, [36] where it began previews on 20 February 2014, before holding its official opening night on 25 February, booking until 14 June 2014. The Ustinov Studio is a studio theatre in Bath, England.It is the Theatre Royal's second space, built in 1997 at the rear of the building on Monmouth Street. It is named after the actor Peter Ustinov who led the fundraising programme for the Studio's creation in the early 1990s.
The tour played 12–22 October at Theatre Royal, Bath, 24–29 October at the Richmond Theatre, 31 October - 5 November at Cambridge Arts Theatre, 8–19 November at Chichester Festival Theatre. The production then transferred to the West End at the Vaudeville Theatre from 1 March -17 June 2017. [6]
