Shelburne (2021 population 8,994) is a town in Dufferin County, Ontario, Canada, is located at the intersection of Highway 10 and Highway 89. Shelburne hosts the Annual Canadian Championship Old Time Fiddling Contest that is held each August.
King's Highway 10, commonly referred to as Highway 10, is a provincially maintained highway in the Canadian province of Ontario.The highway connects the northern end of Highway 410 just north of Brampton with Owen Sound on the southern shores of Georgian Bay, passing through the towns of Orangeville and Shelburne as well as several smaller villages along the way.
Formerly part of Highway 9. In 2005, was rerouted south of the town of Orangeville. It is the only Dufferin CR whose route includes a segment completely outside the county (in Peel RM). 124 2nd Line Melancthon Intersection of Highway 10/Highway 89 and CR 11 1 km (0.62 mi) east of Shelburne.

Construction of a new route between Simcoe and Brantford took place in the mid-1960s, bypassing the town of Waterford. In 1997 and 1998, the majority of Highway 24 – both south of Simcoe, as well as north of and through Cambridge – was transferred to the responsibility of the various counties and regions through which it travelled.
