Inspired by the rolling hills of the Strathmore grounds, the 190,000-square-foot (18,000 m 2) building is nestled into an 11-acre (45,000 m 2) park-like setting. The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) is an American symphony orchestra based in Baltimore, Maryland.
