The Mount Baker–Snoqualmie National Forest in Washington is a National Forest extending more than 140 miles (230 km) along the western slopes of the Cascade Range from the Canada–US border to the northern boundary of Mount Rainier National Park. Administered by the United States Forest Service, the forest is headquartered in Everett. [4]
Portal Peak is situated 1.5 miles (2.4 km) west of the crest of the Cascade Range in the Glacier Peak Wilderness on land managed by Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Sauk Mountain is a 5,545-foot (1,690-metre) mountain summit located in Skagit County of Washington state. [4] It is situated immediately north of Rockport State Park and the North Cascades Highway, on land managed by the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest.
