Live at Leeds is a music festival that takes place across various venues in Leeds, England, on the weekend of the May Day bank holiday. [ 1 ] The festival began in 2007 to mark the city of Leeds's 800th birthday and was jointly hosted by Leeds City Council and music promotion company Futuresound. [ 2 ]

The festival ran from Friday 28 August 2009 – Sunday 30 August 2009. Weekend tickets cost £175. Day tickets cost £70. Alexisonfire and The Bronx (band) played two sets at both Reading and Leeds – one on the Main Stage and one later in the day on the Lock Up stage. A Day to Remember cancelled their appearance on the Festival Republic stage.

Ellen and the Escapades were an acoustic/pop/rock band from Leeds, England. [2] In 2009, the band was chosen by BBC Introducing to perform at Reading Festival and Leeds Festival .
